Family Counseling Institute is a private, Christian, counseling practice dedicated to developing the well-being and stability of families. The Family Counseling Institute was founded by Nathaniel and Cathy Gilham in 1996 in the Roseland community of Chicago. Family Counseling Institute was created to address the gap between Christian based counseling and professionally trained clinicians. Combining these disciplines created a unique experience for those clients seeking highly qualified Christian mental health professionals.
